William Bartholmeus Maria Van Hoeven, age 67 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida after a brief illness. Born in Detroit, Michigan moving to Live Oak five years ago from Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Live Oak. He was a veteran of the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars in the U.S. Navy as an E-9 Master Chief. Bill owned and operated Fiber Optics Communications. Bill was a member of the Live Oak Elks Lodge #1165 and the NRA. His first love was flying he also loved fishing, boating and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Live Oak, FL.; mother-in- law, Live Oak, FL.; three sons, two daughters,
one brother, one sister, .; and nine grandchildren.

By his wishes finalization was by cremation. At a later date there will be a Memorial service at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Live Oak Cemetery.
