Mrs. Phyllippa Warren Bell, 72, resident of 106 Franklin, Astoria, died at a local hospital yesterday evening after an extended illness. Mrs. Bell, who was born in Plymouth England, December 11, 1865, came to the United States 54 years ago, living in communities in the Willapa Bay district up until the time of her residence in Astoria 20 years ago. Surviving Mrs. Bell are two sons, Captain Arthur W Bell of Astoria and C.R. Bell of Portland and a sister, Mrs. N.H. Weber of Seaside.
Funeral services will be held at the E.B. Hughes Mortuary chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. E.W. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery.
