Adam Wyatt Mayo of Steamboat Springs CO, originally from Chapmansboro died while on vacation in Veracruz, Mexico.

At the age of 43, Adam was an avid whitewater kayaker and enjoyed many outdoor activities. A graduate of Cheatham County High School, the University of Tennessee, and the Denver School of Law, he was currently practicing law in Steamboat Springs.

Adam was preceded in death by his sister Emily Claire Mayo.

He is survived by the love of his life Sallie Holmes, mother Connie Fort Mayo, father Barry Wayne (Dawn) Mayo, brother Matthew Fort (Ann) Mayo, nephew Rowan Manning, sister Lauren (Don) Bischoff, nieces Charlotte Bischoff, Brooke Bischoff; and nephew, Blake Bischoff.

He was the grandson of Marvin & Dottie Mayo and Samuel Perkins "Johnny" & Lillian Hunt Fort.

A Celebration of LIfe service will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 6 o'clock pm Wednesday, December 29th. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 2:00PM until the hour of service at 6:00PM.
