John D. Breeding, 80 of Blackey, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his residence. John was the son of the late Arthur and Ethel Combs Breeding. Surviving is his wife: Ruth Fields Breeding; 3 sons: Dennis Breeding of Hazard, Harold Breeding of Pippa Passes and Phillip Breeding of Woodrock; 2 daughters: Melinda Wilder of Crases Branch and Brandy Blair of Sextons Branch; 2 brothers: Rodney Breeding of Isom and Darrell Breeding of Detroit, Michigan; 1 sister: Joyce Driver of North Vernon, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Elwood Cornett officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lower Breeding Cemetery at Woodrock, Kentucky.
