ROBERT LEE "Bobby" THOMAS, 69, of Crisfield, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Crisfield on March 5, 1938, he was a son of the late John Bradley and Dorothy Carey Thomas.
He was a waterman and a US Army veteran. He attended the Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Crisfield and was a member of the Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion in Crisfield and the Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044. He loved to go with his pal, Jerry, to Circle Inn on Sunday's and to Gordon's. He also enjoyed going fishing with his grandson, Justin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy Evans Thomas of Crisfield; three children, Krista Laird and her husband Scotty of Marion Station, Bobby Thomas of Crisfield and Brian Thomas of Crisfield; three grandchildren whom he loved very much, Justin, Jenna and Brittany; two brothers, Herman Thomas and Timmy Thomas, both of Crisfield; three sisters, Brenda Evans and Glenda Poole, both of Crisfield and Betty Jane Chamblee of Reedvile, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Gene, John and William Thomas; and one sister, Peggy Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 24, 2007 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Terry Riggin will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
