DEATHS
JOHN J. GARRITY
John J. Garrity, husband of the late Mary E. (Conway) Garrity, and one of the pioneer families of St. Rita's parish, died at his home, 158 Crawford Street, after a short illness.
Mr. Garrity was for many years a stationary fireman at the Merrimack Manufacturing Company and was a member of St. Rita's Holy Name Society.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bush and Mrs. John Roberts; three sons, Peter F., of the Lowell school departmentment custodial staff, John T. and Timothy W. Garrity of Dorchester; 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother, Peter Garrity of Ireland, and several nieces and nephews.

GARRITY - Died in Lowell, March 19, at his home, 158 Crawford Street, John J. Garrity. Friends may call at his home after 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from his home. Solemn high funeral mass at St. Rita's Church at 10 o'clock. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery under the direction of Funeral Directors James F. O'Donnell & Sons.
