Johnny Ross will be remembered by his servant's heart. He served the city of Brundidge as a reserve police officer, a member of the search and rescue team, and spent over 25 years as a volunteer fire fighter. For more than 40 years he worked as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic who was known for his expertise. He loved serving others in a variety of ways. His family was most important, and he surrounded himself with those that he loved.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Green Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home, as well as an hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Syble Ross; his brothers Jim Ross, Thomas Allen (Bud) Ross and Robert Dale Ross.
