Hellen H. Bland; Was Employe of D.C. Realty Firm

Miss Hellen Hanna Bland, for several years an employe of Legum & Gerber Realty, died yesterday at her home, 4701 Connecticut avenue N.W., after a long illness.

Born in Linton, Ind., she had lived most of her adult life here. She was the daughter of Mrs. Oscar E. Bland and the late Judge Bland of Linton.

Miss Bland attended Indiana University and was a graduate of Syracuse University. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was an active member of the Ladies Congressional Club and the Columbia Country Club and a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

She leaves her mother, of the home address.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Gawler's Sons, Inc., 5130 Wisconsin avenue N.W. Burial will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the memorial fund of the Wesley Methodist Church.
