Clyde Thomas, well-known farmer, who lived two miles west of Pleasant Hill, died rather unexpectedly about 10:30 Friday evening Feb. 22, 1957 at his home. He had not been very well all winter, but was ill only about a day before his death. Mr. Thomas was 77 years old and is survived by his wife, formerly Maude Wells; three sons and two daughters; Mrs. Verlie Hoaglin, George, Bert, Kent, and Dell at home. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon Feb. 24, 1957 at the Methodist church in Pleasant Hill.
