Mary Evelyn (Hodges) Erwin, age 82 passed away from this life on December 26th, 2021. Mary was born on September 19th, 1939 in Nashoba, Oklahoma to Georgia Marie (Coplen) and William Hodges. Mary worked at the Clayton Housing Authority for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Penny Stone and husband Bob of Ada, OK, Bill Erwin and wife Vondale of Tishomingo, OK; seven grandchilren, Billy Shane Erwin and wife Nicole of Madill, OK, Brad Erwin and wife Katherine of Coalgate, OK, Bobby Stone II of Ada, OK, Chris Stone and wife Cyndy of Ada, OK, Melissa Chaffin and husband Jeff of Mesquite, TX, Julie Martin of Ada, OK, and John Stone and wife Makayl of Wilson, OK; eighteen great grandchildren, Colton, Brook, Isaiah, Nathan, Joel, Shane, Summer, Britany, Bret, Brendan, Chelsea, Tanner, Bailey, Caden, Daylen, Deacon, Matthew, and Morgan; nine great great grandchildren; one sister, Billie Sue Allen as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29th 2021 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.
Services will be on Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at 2:00PM at Nolia Cemetery Pavillion in Nashoba, Oklahoma with Bro. Gary Fuller officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
