Alice Mae Smith, age 81, of Daniels, WV passed away on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, 2021 at her home.
Born on May 2, 1940 at Lego, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Edward Smith and Virginia Atkins Smith.
Mrs. Smith had worked for many years in the Printed Circuit Board Industry. She returned to Daniels, WV in 1997, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beaver. She was presently employed by the Celebration Place in Beaver, WV.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed cooking and arranging flowers in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith in May 2021; by a brother David Smith; by step grandchildren, Randy Mullins and Matthew Smith.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her sons, Robert Graham of Lynchburg, VA and Edward Graham of Daniels, WV; Step children, Sherri Owens and husband Dave of Winchester, VA, Charles "Chuck" Smith Jr. and wife Lorena of Manassas, VA, and Aaron Smith and wife Melinda of Mooresville, NC; Siblings, Harold Dean Smith of Parkersburg, WV, Charles Smith and wife Donna of Stafford, VA, and Peggy Hornsby and husband James of Woodbridge, VA. Grandchildren, Ashly Allen of Lynchburg, VA, Dana Diaz and husband Enzo of Falls Church, VA, Lillie, Emma, and Rider of Flat Top; three great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home , Shady Spring Chapel, on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 1 PM with Rev. Steve Gibson and Rev. Mark Hornsby officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family from 11 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
