FAYE E. ADAMS HILL, 79, of Salisbury, N.C., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks. Born Dec. 2, 1932, in Knox County, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Forest Glenn Adams and Edna Turl Adams. She was a graduate of Yates City High School and Fort Wayne Bible College. She retired from GTE (General Telephone of Indiana) with 40 plus years. She was also a member of Rockwell United Methodist Church and was active in the Women's Group and many fundraisers. Surviving are her brother, Sam Adams of Granite Quarry; sister, Marge Wicker of Rockwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norvis Walter Hill on Jan. 24, 2012; two brothers; and three sisters. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, for both Mr. Norvis W. Hill and Mrs. Faye A. Hill at Rockwell United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dan Gobble, pastor of Providence United Methodist Church officiating.
