Downs Bennett "Dock" Barksdale of Jennings Ave. Greenwood, SC; formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC; died on Saturday at the age of 73. He was born in Greenwood County, SC; to the late John A. and Kathryn (Reynolds) Barksdale. He had been employed by Sinclair Refining Company before retiring. Dock was preceded in death by his late wife, Ethel (Bynum) Barksdale, in 1971. He is survived by his son's Bennett M. Barksdale and Stokes K. Barksdale. Also survived by two sister's, Mrs. Ruth Smith and Mrs. Grace Wharton. Burial will be in the Southeastern Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach, SC;
