He married Ruth L. Ingrum Heimberger, February 22, 1958 in Chebanse, Illinois.
He was Millright at General Foods for 28 years and retired in 1991. He then worked for Stanfield School Dist. doing Maintenance and then for Mary E. O'Brien School for Handicap Children and retired in 2007 in Arizona.
He served in the U.S. Army and then in the National Guard.
He attended Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, sand railing, Nascar and Dirt Stock Car Racing.

His sister Dorothy and Lavern Seibring of Mantneo, IL, and Marcella and Tom Wood of Manteno, IL and Eileen and Glen Pope of Chebanse, IL. His brother of Delbert Heimberger of Mantneo, IL Ten Grandchildren and Five step Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
