Services: Services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Schreffler will officiate.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Home.
James was born on January 2, 1941 in Evergreen Park, IL. to Edna Baacke and Alexander H. Williamson. He served in the Coast Guard. James married Jacquelyn Herter on May 16, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad from 1958 to 1964 and UPS for 35 years. He was a member of the Oak Park Sportsman Club, Plainfield, IL. He enjoyed woodworking, trap shooting and HO gage model railroads.
James is survived by his wife, Jackie of Manteno, IL., one son and daughter-in-law, James & Kendra Williamson of Braidwood, IL., four daughters and three sons-in-law, Dawn & Robert Madia of Park, Forest, IL., Caren & James Michaels of Elmhurst, IL., Jennifer & Daniel Regan of Manteno, IL., and Rebecca Williamson of Manteno, IL., two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joan & George Filbert of Dalton, IL., Joyce & Robert Staecker of Georgia, ten grandchildren, Sarah Madia, Sophie & Lauren Michaels, Michael, Maggie, Jessica, & Matthew Regan,; Samantha & Tanner Williamson, Magan Williamson.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
