Services: Services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Maternity V.B.M. Catholic Church, Bourbonnais, IL. Father Richard Pighini will officiate.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Home.
Harold was born on Janury 25, 1927 in Kankakee, IL. to Ida Wischnowski and Werner Siefert. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Joan M. Graveline. Harold worked at Roper's for 40 years, retiring in 2004. He currently worked at Hove Buick and Nassan. He was a past Moose Member, and a member of the Bradley American Legion. He loved gardening, euchre, birds and collected fountain pens and stamps.
Harold is survived by his wife, Joan of Kankakee, IL., two sons, Harold Siefert, Jr. of Houston, TX, and Rick Siefert of Bradley, IL., four daughters Sharon and Susan of Kankakee, IL., Ann of Bourbonnais and Deborah of Illinois., one sister, Darlene Plante of Phoenix, AZ., and one brother and sister-in-law, Norman & Delores Siefert of Bloomington, IL., eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ronald Siefert and one brother-in-law, Herrold Plante.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Maternity BVM Church, Good Shepard Manor or the Donor's Choice.
