Alexander Quinton Jones was born on February 13, 1970 in Newark, NJ to the late James A. Jones and Joann Jones. He departed this life on December 7, 2021.
In addition to his parents, Alex was preceded in death by his brother, Tony A. Price; and one daughter, Brieyanah J. Jones.
Alex leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Dimoneeh Stanley, Safee Jones and Quinton Jones; his grandchildren, Nevaeh Stanley and Zane Jones; his siblings, Charneik Jones, Jimmy Jones, Sidney Jones, Charneiqua Leeks, Andre Jones, Nicole Jones, Fatimah Sales and Hassan Leeks; along with a host of other family and friends.
Alex was a fun loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend who loved his family very much. He wore many hats: landscaper, construction worker, a cook, just to name a few. There was so much more to him in life, but the one thing he loved to do most was cook. No matter if it was in the kitchen or grilling, he loved it. He was the life of the party when he was around, he had a smile that would brighten up a room.
Alex did not get a chance to finish school, but later on in life he got his G.E.D. I was so proud of him when he did that. Alex, we want you to know we love you and you are forever in our hearts.
