Mrs. Willie Mae Brown McSherry, 19, died Wednesday morning at four o'clock at Powers-DuPuy Hospital after a week's illness.
She was a member of the Methodist church and to know this young lady was to love her. Her infant son preceded her to the grave a few days ago.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at five o'clock at Oak Grove Church, Rev. Edgar Glaze of Ardmore officiating, Rainey of Ardmore in charge of arrangements at German Cemetery.
Flower girls were her Sunday school mates; pallbearers were friends of the family.
She is survived by seven brothers - four in service; and five sisters; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown of Thach; her devoted companion, Christopher McSherry of Oak Grove; and a number of other relatives to whom much sympathy is extended.
