Diane Gordon Fowler, 89, died on Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was born April 10, 1932, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Ethel M. and Gordon W. Schneider. Diane married the love of her life, Harold Eugene Fowler on October 18, 1952, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. Diane was a devout Catholic and a member of the parish of St. Eugene, where she and Harold were faithful members for over 60 years. They lovingly raised 8 children together. In the mid 70's Diane went to work for Stitch-N-Time Fabric Store for 19 years. She then went to work for The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum as an administrative assistant for 18 years, retiring in 2010. Diane had many talents and shared her gift of sewing, crafting, and gardening with her family and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her husband Harold; her parents; and brother, Tom Schneider. She was survived by her children, Stephen (Larry), Cynthia Huston (Dane), Catherine Brennan (Bill), John (Rhonda), Mary, Joseph, David (Crystal), Janet Friday (Karl); 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet M. Burke; along with many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 8 January, at St. Eugene Catholic Church. Inurnment followed at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
