Mr. Norman Edward Kirsch, age 91, of Alexander Drive, Blairsville passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in the Clay County Care Center following an extended illness. Mr. Kirsch was born on September 19, 1915 in Campbell Hill, IL, the son of the late Edward H. Kirsch and the late Rosa Vogt Kirsch. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was President of Rainbow Prison Ministry for over twenty-two years. Mr. Kirsch was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.

Surviving Mr. Kirsch are his loving wife, Myra Flemming Kirsch of Blairsville; one son, Marvin Kirsch of Blairsville; nieces and nephews, Barbara and Bill Holly of Murraysville, PA, Loraine and Barry Conrad of York, PA; many other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 1 p.m. from the Holly Hill Cemetery with Dr. Phillip Meeks officiating. IN lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Rainbow Prison Ministries in Mr. Kirsch's memory.
