Deceased Name: RICHARD J. "DICK" CICHON
Richard J. "Dick" Cichon, 60, of Barrington, died Monday in Cuba Township. Mr. Cichon began his career as an X-ray technologist and worked for 32 years for JNO V. Doehren Co. He later was employed by Picker International Inc. Health Care Products. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; his children, Dr. Bryan, Keith Michael, and Michelle; his mother; and three brothers. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with a mass to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich

Barrington resident Richard J. "Dick" Cichon, 60, died Sept. 8, 1997. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Sept. 11 at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, followed by interment in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Born May 16, 1937, in Chicago, Mr. Cichon began his career as an X-ray technologist. He was previously employed for 32 years by JNO. V. Doehren Co. and was employed by Picker International Inc. Health Care Products at the time of his death.
Surviving family members include his wife, Dorothy (nee Sniegowski); two sons, Dr. Bryan and Keith Michael; a daughter, Michelle; his mother, Angeline C. Cichon; and three brothers, Walter (Rita), Norbert (Barbara) and Robert (Nancy). He is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter.
