Robert Blair Atteridg, 90, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Robert was a master gardener and horticulturalist. He enjoyed woodworking, cross-stitch, and fishing. His greatest love was music. Robert had a deep appreciation for all kinds of music. As a vocal teacher and conductor, he once toured Europe and directed the New York State Choir in the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents George and Lida Atteridg, his late wife Eleanor Atteridg, and two brothers: George Atteridg and Paul Atteridg, and his daughter Linda Atteridg.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Atteridg; step-daughter, Veronica Porterfield (David); daughter Pam Buckland; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren along with other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, December 18, 2021 at Rolesville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rolesville Baptist Church Cemetery.
