Gary Wade Cotton, 58, of Ward, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022. He was born Friday, September 13, 1963 in Little Rock to Eldon and Ola Mae McWhorter Cotton. Gary was a Cabot High School graduate and owner of Cypress Creek Machine in Beebe. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Cotton.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Cobb Cotton; his father, Eldon Cotton; sister, Cynthia Cotton; brother, Danny Wayne (Sandy) Cotton and numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 12:30-2:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Gary was a murder victim resulting in a 5 day manhunt ending in the capture of his murderer.
