Nellie Red Cloud, age 96, of the Hatfield area, and mother of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, Corporal Mitchell Red Cloud, Jr., died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1993, in the Black River Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Red Cloud homestead, rural Hatfield, and burial will be in the Red Cloud Homestead Cemetery. Friends may call at the Red Cloud homestead after 1 p.m. today, until the services at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. There will be a V.F.W. Auxiliary service on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the homestead. The Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
