Byron Lee Adcock, 62, Butlerville, passed away at his residence at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born January 29, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Harry J. and Helen E. (Brison) Adcock.

He married Melanie C. Ashman on December 23, 1978, in North Vernon; she survives. Byron graduated from Jennings County High School in 1977. He worked as a HVAC technician by trade, having worked for Stope Refrigeration and Koch Mechanical both for many years. He had also worked for the old Pizza Palace while in high school and for a few years after. Byron foodie and enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, traveling and spending time with his family.

Surviving with his wife of 43 years, Melanie; are his son, Cole (Misty) Adcock of Butlerville; his daughter, Melanie Petro of Butlerville; sisters, Georgiana (Kenneth) Vest of North Vernon; grandchildren, Emmalee Adcock, Gracie Adcock, Mitchy Whitehouse, Amelyah Adcock, Josie Petro, Konnor Adcock, and Jacquelyn Adcock, all of Butlerville; and his niece, Wendy (Vern) Cartwright of Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Bessie Brison and Elijah and Josephine Adcock; and nephew, Jaime Adcock.

In keeping with Byron's wishes there will be no services at this time with a celebration of life to be held at a later time.
