❦ Early Life: William "Bill" was born September 29, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ray Belmont Bagley and Maurine Mantle Bagley, the eldest of their four children. He attended Granite High School.
❦ Life's Work | Service | Interests: Bill joined the United States Army and served his active duty at Fort Benning in Georgia with honorable discharge. Bill worked for Interstate Brick for several years before he got the job he loved at Western Airlines as a ground service equipment mechanic. Bill loved cars, he raced C tracks at the state fairgrounds in Utah and Boise, Idaho, during the '50s and '60s. It was on the race track he earned his title "Wild Bill''. He took home many trophies during his years of racing. He loved all sports. He was a top fastpitch softball player for years. At one point, he was recognized as one of the fastest softball pitchers in the state. He was in demand and played for several teams. Bill had a strong work ethic and had many side jobs working with rock, laying carpet, and welding. He laid carpet until his knees would not allow it any longer. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader, working with the youth of the Bountiful Heights Stake. He enjoyed visiting and helping others as much as he could and enjoyed his calling as a ministering brother. William Belmont "Bill" Bagley, 87, died Monday, January 3, 2022, at Utah Valley Hospital due to complications following a stroke.

❦ Survived By: His wife of 42 years, Kathleen Davis Bagley; and three stepsons: Keith Faux, Shawn Faux (Connie), and Don Faux. Also survived by his former wife, JoAnn Miller Bagley; their five children: Ronald (Carma), Sheldon (Lori), Tamara Guth (Martin), William Jr. (Courtney), and David (Suzanne); sister, Bonnie Bagley; brother, Ray; 13 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
