Bobby Joe Crowder, age 72, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 9:08 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home. He was born May 1, 1949, in Peoria, Kansas to the late Joe Dean Crowder and Mary Belle (Martin) Crowder.

Bobby Joe lived in the area most of his life. He played basketball and baseball when he was young, and even playing with major league stars. Bobby Joe was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1968 until 1974. He worked as a crane operator in Joplin, Missouri and loved to fish, hunt, and sing karaoke.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; one son and one daughter; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His parents and sister, Beverly Ann Crowder Caulk, preceded him in death.
