Addison Rayne Reese, or Addi to her family and friends, was born on Tuesday, November 16th, 2004 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Dustin Frank and Lavena Lovette. She was raised with two brothers and two sisters, Ethan, Bodhi, Pyper, and Lynnux. She attended school at Norwood and would enter her High School years as a Hulbert Rider. She was blessed with beautiful expressive eyes and attitude enough to let you know you were going to enjoy this new found friend. She knew her mind and what she liked…or didn't like. Addi hated doing dishes. She did, however, enjoy reading a good book, working on her many art projects, listening to her favorite tunes, watching an interesting movie, Dazed and Confused was her favorite, and playing the ukulele. Sports were a favorite pastime, and softball and basketball were her favorite. There were siblings to pester and songs to sing. She mastered both of these pastimes perfectly. You could catch her performances on Spotify, where her fans loved her. She had a warm and loving heart, a smile that lit up the darkest room and a laugh that was truly infectious. Family was very important in her life, and she cherished every chance she had to gather with those she loved and held dear. Like any one Addi's age, she had dreams of future events, of dances, and ball games, and new songs and careers and dating. Unfortunately for Addi, this was not to be. Like the shooting star, she left us all too soon on Tuesday, June 10th, 2020, in a tragedy we still find hard to believe. While her time on earth was all too brief, what does remain is the love she left behind. She has left a little piece of her heart with each and every one of the people she encountered in her lifetime. There is the image of the Addi smile, the Addi laugh, the thoughtful Addi look. We have had to leave her in the arms of a loving God, to look after her 'til we see her again. She was 15 years old.
