Helen M Walker Wood Brady, 88, of Sheridan, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock from complications of a stroke. She was born August 8, 1919, the daughter of the late Johnny and Maggie Hendricks Walker. Mrs. Brady was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, Grace Sunday School Class and the Golden Agers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vascar Wood; son, Jimmy Wood; daughter, Pam Wood; two grandchildren, Douglas Conklin and Kim Archer; four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by four daughters, Sonja Wood Nichols of Huntsville, Alabama, Maggie Wood Conklin of Garland, Texas, Linda Wood Archer and husband Kenneth of Sheridan, Becky Wood Collins of Pahoa, Hawaii; three sisters, Jackie Nobles of Bryant, Betty Gibbons of Springdale, and Johnnie Minton of England. She was "Mama Helen" to twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren
