Emma Steele Rites Conducted Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Steele, a Hocking County native who died last Sunday in Phoenix, Ariz., were held at 2 p.m. today at the Heinlein Funeral Home. The Rev. John Currans, Columbus, officiated. Mrs. Mabel Prather was the organist. Pallbearers were Jack Spencer, Ernest Spencer, Robert Spencer, Arthur Cline, Clifford Bailey and
Herbert Currans.
Mrs. Steele is survived by her husband, Arthur Steele; a son Herbert Cline, Phoenix; a daughter Mrs. Beatrice Leppla, Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Spencer and Mrs. Della Sanders, both of Logan; and a brother Harvey Spencer, Murray City.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
