Alice Geneva Roberts, age 90 of Rison, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Cleveland County Nursing Home. She was born April 1, 1917 in the Macedonia Community near Rison, a daughter of the late Mason and Susie Trammell Hartley. Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. B "Dub" Roberts on April 12, 1992; two sisters, Ellen Stringfellow, Jessie Ethridge.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Homer Gene and Joy Roberts of Leesville, Louisiana, James "Punk" Roberts of Marvell, Roy "Bo" and Lynn Roberts of Pine Bluff; three daughters and son-in-law, Mary and Billy Wilson of Milam, Texas, Louise Cramer of Beatrice, Nebraska, Mattie Sue Miller of Rison; one brother, Cecil Hartley of Hampton; twenty one grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
