In Loving Memory of Lorin "Bud" Briles.

"Page Pioneers" Bud & Pat Briles arrived from Phoenix, Arizona (through Union Operators Engineers 428) in Page​, Arizona​, right after the first bucket of concrete was poured on Glen Canyon Dam on June 17, 1960​. They moved from Page to Kingman, Arizona, in June 1963.

Lorin "Bud" Briles was the 12th of 17 children of his father, Robert Alexander Briles and 8th of 12 children of his mother (his father's second wife), Ida May/Mae (Miksch) Briles. His father had been twice a widower with five children and in his late 30s when he married Bud's mother, who was a teenager, and they had 12 children together.
