Nelson, Roy H. - Joined his beloeved wife, Helen S. Nelson (nee Schaeppi) in Heaven on Sunday, January 4, 2004. Roy was born on November 16, 1922 in St. Paul, MN to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Nelson. He was a graduate of the College of St. Thomas and a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. Roy served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He married Helen on December 28, 1949. Roy was a bond manager for the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company in Milwaukee. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Spring Hill, FL and of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Menomonee Falls, WI. Roy will be dearly missed by his children, Jan (Theo) Abrahamson, Roy (Jean) Nelson and Craig (Mary) Nelson; his grandchildren, Erik and Kristin Abrahamson, Kyle and Alyssa Nelson, Benjamin and Calla Nelson; his sister, Alice (Nelson) Bollenbacher; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Helen on July 9, 2003. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2004 at 12:30 PM at ST. FRANCIS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, N84 W16525 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls.
