Valora June Stevens, 71, Lawrence, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles E. Gilmore officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Stevens died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Lawrence, to James Alec and Estle Fay Hegeman Banks.
Mrs. Stevens grew up in Lawrence and attended school here. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She married William Neal Stevens on April 13, 1946, in Independence, Mo. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing.
Other survivors include a son, John Neal Stevens, Lawrence; two daughters, Pamela Sue Smith, Lawrence, and Martha Jane Wordsworth, Napa, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
