Fr Philip was a gentle soul who loved music, children and animals. He proudly served eight years in the US Air Force, and upon honorable discharge pursued his calling to join the priesthood, becoming ordained in 1979.
A devout Catholic priest, Fr Philip dedicated himself to the many parishes and communities he was called upon to serve. He spent time as Chaplain at the University of New Mexico Hospital and later, Chaplain at the VA Hospital, both in Albuquerque. Retiring in the early '90s, Fr Philip settled in Taos, NM, where he lived a quiet and contemplative life.
Loved by many parishioners and his family. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 16 siblings; with six remaining surviving siblings.
