Barbara Bliss Staley, 87, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2022.

Barbara Jean Bliss was born December 16, 1934.

She attended and graduated from Midland Michigan High School, where she met and later married Dennis Staley. He proceeds her in death, along with her daughter Kimberly Staley, son Jeffery Staley and twin sister Beth Hignite.

Survivors include: sister Luann Welch, son Phillip Staley and Erin Murray, daughter Jana Staley Armstrong and son-in-law Bobby Armstrong. Grandchildren: Chad Armstrong, Jeanna Larsen, Justin Larsen, Blake Staley, Kayla Staley, Corinne Staley and Kendall Staley.

She has been a lifelong active member of the Episcopal Church and served many years on the Altar Guild.

She was also very talented making quilts, knitting, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, and has recently enjoyed making Time of Death Hearts for Hospice.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. January 22, at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas.
