Evelyn L. Teel, age 99, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community in Fort Wayne. Evelyn was born June 19, 1922 in Wells County. She was one of ten children born to the late Mahlon and Effie (Muter) Hutchison.
Evelyn was married to Richard M. Teel, who passed in 2000, and spent her married life as a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was a member of the United Faith Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Karen Roebel; her grandson, Kevin Pape; four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
