John M. Troxel, 78, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the family home near Rainsville, after suffering a stroke of paralysis five weeks ago.
Mr. Troxel was born in Warren county September 15, 1856, a son of Adam and Missouri Troxel, and was married to Rhoda A. Foster about 50 years ago.
With the exception of 12 years in Illinois, his entire life was spent in Warren and Benton counties.
Surviving are the widow; two sons, Ben L., and George; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Ervin, Mrs. Bessie Fisher and Mrs. Alma Gamble; and a brother, Francis, A. Troxel.
