He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on May 4, 1953. Son of the late Willam Raymond and Lillian (Miller) Raymond.
Elroy graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1972. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Army and then went on to serve in the United States Navy until his retirement from active Military duty in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Raymond and Robert Raymond of Port Huron, sister-in-law, Barbara Raymond of Kimball and Sharon Raymond of Fort Gratiot; step children Nick and Michael Navoni; and many nieces and nephews.
Elroy was preceded in death by his brothers, William "Bill" Raymond in 2019 and David Raymond in 2021.
