Clyde Clarence Powell, Jr., a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 96 years old. He was born on November 12, 1925, in Andalusia, Alabama to Johnnie Lois and Clyde Powell, Sr.
A family graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Brother Bob Gross officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wednesday night meals at First Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and loving wife of 75 years, Fern Powell.
Survivors include three children, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
