Services for Edna Mae Arnold, 72, Overbrook, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ with Herbert Broadus officiating. Burial will be in Overbrook Cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1993, at her home.

Mrs. Arnold was a clerk at livestock auctions in Ottawa, Wakarusa, Overbrook and Emporia many years and also clerked for many area farm sales where her husband was an auctioneer.

She was born Sept. 3, 1920, in Ashlot, Mont., the daughter of Rutherford B. and Nellie Sutton Crady. She moved with her parents to Kansas in 1924 to the Lone Star and Ridgeway communities and attended Ridgeway Grade School.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Church of Christ, Busy Bee Hobby Club, Needle Art Club and Santa Fe Trail Pickers, all at Overbrook.

She married Ernest L. Arnold on April 3, 1941, in Lawrence. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Jim Arnold, Overbrook; three sisters, Ruth Shuck, Lawrence, Helen DeLong, Berryton, and Edith Musick, Overbrook; a brother, Leonard Crady, Overbrook; and two grandchildren.
