Tony Patrick Messina went to be with the Lord, January 15th, 2022. He was born June 24th ,1962 to Anthony and Janie (Copeland) Messina in Corpus Christi Texas. He was the
second youngest of six boys.
After graduating from Texas City High School, he went to work at the Texas Department of Corrections as a Corrections officer. He married Michele Zinante and they had two sons, Paul Andrew Messina and Patrick Anthony Messina. They divorced shortly after. After leaving TDCj, he worked for his father as a locksmith for several years, before retiring due to injuries.
Tony met Amy Raska and married her in 2004. That year he gained his bonus daughter, Elizabeth Raska, and he and Amy had their daughter, Stephanie Renee Messina.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Janie; brothers, John Edwin Messina, Charles Edward Messina and James Michael Messina as well as all four grandparents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Messina; ex-wife, Michele Zinante of Huntsville, Texas; son, Paul Andrew Messina and his daughter Kaylee of Trinity, Texas; son, Patrick Anthony Messina, wife Bea and daughter Bella of Baytown, Texas; daughter, Stephanie Renee Messina of Texas City, Texas; Elizabeth Ann Raska and fiancée, Jerome Dekalb and daughters, Olivia Marie DeKalb and Aurora Rose DeKalb of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; brothers, Frank Anthony Messina of Texas City, Texas and Joseph Wayne Messina and Cathy Cardona of La Porte, Texas. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
