Lloyd Cecil Kinnan went singing into Heaven on January 19th, 2022. He was 87 years old and surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in Carroll County, Iowa on February 1, 1934 to Johnnie and Alta Kinnan. He lived in Gowrie, Iowa before moving to Ft. Dodge. He met Lauretta McMahon, the love of his life, at the Laramar Ballroom. Lloyd was a tremendous athlete, who participated in football, wrestling, and track. They graduated high school in June 1952 and got married in September of that same year.

He started working at the Hormel packing plant, all the while continuing his education in TV repair. In 1969, he and his family moved to Klamath Falls, OR. where he joined the family business, Nelson's TV, owned by Alta and her second husband, Clyde Nelson. Eventually Lloyd and Lauretta bought the business themselves. Lloyd continued to work there until late in 2021.

Lloyd was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was also actively involved in the Knights of Columbus and the Moose Lodge. He loved music and sang in the church choir through most of his life. He also liked hunting, shooting pool, fishing, stock car racing, and watching athletic events. Especially when his children or grandchildren were competing.

He is preceded in death by his son Gregory Kinnan, his parents, and his brother Wayne Kinnan.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lauretta, his brother Bob Kinnan, and his sister Clydene Wandersheid. As well as his children, Tim Kinnan, Dave (Melodie) Kinnan, Pat Kinnan, Karen (Justin) Longacre, Paula Schaner, Matt (Sheri) Kinnan. He was also blessed with too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to mention by name, but he treasured the time spent with them all.

Lloyd had a great joy for life and often brought a smile to the faces of families and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
