Marie Lucille Green, age 66, of Woodbine. passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Montgomery Medstar Hospital, Olney, MD.
Born December 8, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Carmella Hoffman. She was the loving wife of Eugene J. Green.
Marie had been a homemaker for most of her life. When the kids entered school Marie started a long and varied career outside of the home. Her first position was at George's as a waitress from which she went on to open Personal Pets in the Carrolltown Mall. After closing she trained for and became a CNA working in various nursing homes within Carroll County, Marie also found happiness in working with the scouting programs and being a member of the Church Choir.
Surviving in addition to her husband are son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Laurie Green; daughter Alicia Green; sister Louise Walsh Sedekersky and grandchildren: Hannah, Mark and Sarah.
She was predeceased by son, Anthony Green who died in 2003.

Private inurnment will be in Old St. Joseph Cemetery, Sykesville.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
