Tommy Elwin Allison went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2022. Tommy was born on December 19, 1933, in Milburn Oklahoma to Clyde and Nora Lee Allison.

After graduating high school, Tommy joined the United States Navy, and after completing basic training while home on leave, married Ruth McConnell on July 8, 1952. Just before celebrating their one-year anniversary they had their first son, Thomas, and 16 months later had their second son, Paul. Tommy received his A&P license in the Navy and got his first job at Aero Commander, which was the start of his 50+ year career in the aviation industry. He had a fulfilling career spanning various roles in aviation ranging from a line mechanic, to inspecting airplanes, to teaching the FARs to new recruits at the FAA, to working at Tinker Field as a consultant overseeing the safety regulations for Air Force One under Presidents Clinton and Bush, and then opening his own consulting firm to teach others about aviation regulations and safety. He taught his last class at Nordam at the age of 72.

His love for aviation was only surpassed by his love for family. He and Ruth celebrated their 69th anniversary in July of 2021. Tommy and Ruth were active members of the Central Baptist Church of Owasso.  His family was his pride and joy. Everywhere he went he would tell others about his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild. He loved to brag on their accomplishments to anyone who would listen. He loved entertaining his family by telling great stories and "pulling their legs." Tommy also loved to play guitar and sing with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Nora Allison; his sisters Merline LaChapelle, Annie Hilton, and Lola Hooker; and his brother Oscar Allison.
