Victor died in his home after a short illness. He graduated from Lackawanna High School. For 45 years, he worked as an electronics-equipment repair technicion. Mr. Dafchik was an active memer of St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church in Buffalo where he assisted at Mass and served on the church council and the building, grounds and finance commitees. He was a member of several other organizations, including the Jolly Jacks Social Club and the Western New York Herb Study Group. Mr. Dafchik is survived by his wife of 31 years, the former Mary E. Globa, sister, Joan LeTeste and niece Barbara.
