A. Nancy Disney, 95, formerly of Ormond Street, Albany, NY, died peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Pleasant View Retirement Communities, Manheim, PA.
Born in Altrincham, England, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie Opie Taylor.
She was the widow of the late Dr. Robert J. Disney who was a dentist in Albany for many years. Nancy was a homemaker most of her life, but enjoyed a brief period as a Telephone Operator at the former D & H Railroad Co.
She was a member of the Third Reformed Church in Albany where she was a former Sunday School teacher and a member of the Ladies Group. Nancy was a former Vice President of the Dental Auxiliary and a member of the Normanside Country Club. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading and needlepoint, and always had a special love of animals.
Surviving is a daughter, Hummelstown, PA; a granddaughter and her physician husband; a niece; and nephew.
