Robert Allen, 76, of Cleburne, Texas passed away due to complications from COVID-19 on January 16, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was the youngest of seven children born May 26, 1945 to Eva Helen Tennison and John "Bill" Blaine Allen of Meridian, Bosque County, Texas, both whom have preceded him in death.

He graduated Peabody High School in Hillsboro, Texas. After graduation, he attended barber school in Dallas, Texas receiving his Mastery in Barbering, while staying with a close relative. Robert married Jean Ella Grant on June 20, 1970 in Cleburne, Texas.

He has held several hard-working jobs over his lifetime, including 9 ½ years with the Santa Fe Railroad and recently retiring this past fall after 40 plus years of service from Johns Manville. He also had a passion for buying, restoring and collecting vintage autos that he loved almost his entire life. He also loved to grill and BBQ in his leisure time.

Survived by his wife of 50 plus years, Jean, three children, one sister, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Service will be conducted February 1, 2022. Burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas...CPFH
