Louis Abatte, 72, of 45 Portland Street, died Monday morning at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Calabria, Province of Reggio, Italy and had lived in Hartford for 33 years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Concetta Racosca; a son, Angelo Abatte of Staffordsville; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie La Violet, Mrs. Josephine Adams and Mrs. Rose Peterson, all of Hartford, and Mrs. Jean Mazzio of Wethersfield; 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was a member of the 60 Club.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a. m. at the Laraia and Sagarino Funeral Home, 247 Washington Street, with a solemn requiem mass at St. Anthony's Church at 9:15 a. m. Burial will be in Mt, St. Benedict Cemetery.
