Mr. Feinberg was a graduate of New York University and earned an engineering certificate from Rutgers University. He was a World War II veteran, U.S. Army Medics Corps, served in the European Theatre of Operations, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Mr. Feinberg served as president of Central Jersey Home Builders Association, was a building commissioner of Lawrenceville, on the Advisory Board of Mercer County Community College and was named "New Jersey Builder of the Year" in 1963. He retired from the building industry in 1976, but remained active as a commercial real estate broker in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mr. Feinberg also taught real estate law at Rider and Mercer County colleges.

He was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Trenton Jewish Community Center and served on the Board of Trustees and "High Holidays" chairman at Har Sinai Temple. He was a member of Jewish War Veterans Post 156, a former member of Greenacres Country Club and the Lawrenceville Prep School Golf Club. He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Rainberry Bay in Delray Beach, FL where he and his wife maintained a winter residence.

Son of the late Abram and Rose Levitan Feinberg, he is survived by his wife Maxene; two sons, Edward of Lower Makefield, PA and Mark of New York City; a daughter-in-law, Linda; a grandson, Evan; a sister, Adeline Kramer of Passaic; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services are at Har Sinai Temple, 2421 Pennington Road, Pennington, NJ and burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ. The period of mourning will be observed at the Kramer residence in Passaic, NJ, and at the Feinberg residence in Lawrenceville, NJ, and at the Feinberg residence in Lower Makefield, PA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ.
